ITINERARY:
JOURNAL ENTRY:
Had a wonderful breakfast with sausage of ill repute and dubious flavor.
Walked to the Liverpool Cathedral and toured it and the [really tall] steeple. There are 14 bells, each with names, weighing over 32 tons total.
Walked to Albert Dock and bought cones with chocolate sprinkles. At the docks, we toured the International Slavery Museum, Merseyside Meritime Museum (which had information on the Titanic & Lusitania), and the Museum of Liverpool (which had a John Lennon and Yoko Ono display).
Ate dinner at the Crust. Ordered pizza and fried Zuccini. Yum! Walked ot the Philharmonic Dining Rooms. It was supposed to be very decorative (designed by the shipwrights who built the Lusitania) but we weren't too impressed.
The Dining Room on the second floor looked promising. We might have dinner there before we leave Liverpool.
